A mother in California, gives birth to twin babies, in two different years
The Russian agency, Sputnik, reported that an American citizen gave birth to twins within 15 minutes, in two different years, at Navidad Medical Center in Salinas, California.
It is reported that Fatima Madrigal Trujillo gave birth to her child, Alfredo Antonio Trujillo, in the last minutes of 2021, while she gave birth to her second child, Eileen Yolanda Trujillo, in the first minutes of 2022.
The medical center stated on its Twitter account that it "welcomed the arrival of Aileen Yolanda Trujillo as the first girl in the region for 2022, while her twin, Alfredo Antonio Trujillo, was born 15 minutes ago at 11:45 pm on Friday, December 31, 2021."
The mother of the two children expressed her happiness with the arrival of the twins in two different years, describing it as crazy.
In a statement, Dr. Anna April Arias said: "It has been a pleasure helping these children get here safely in 2021 and 2022. what a great way to start the new year!"
"This birth is unforgettable," she added.
